Every week is Freshers’ Week with the u3a. Local groups around the borough join up for a chat in a pub or coffee shop. There are games sessions – backgammon, scrabble. And the learning bit? – brush up a language or journey down the Indus Valley with the Ancient History group. Craft skills; art; culture; thinking – we have it all.
